Our program, Join A Group To Climb Mount Ararat 8 Days Open, is a safe program containing an exercise day for acclimatisation. Our program’s main objective is to help you reach the summit of the mountain, whilst also getting you used to the high altitudes. Our cultural program includes the most famous historical monument Ishak Pasha Palace, along with an airport transfer, a 3 night stay at a hotel and more!

Also, you will not be asked to pay more even if, on the specific date of starting the trek, you are the only person going on that trip. If our current dates don’t suit your schedule, we will create a new climb, starting on any day – our “private climb” .We have a number teams climbing Ararat throughout the year so we are very flexible and will be able to help you. Only the guide decides on the changes to be made on the tour and this cannot be discussed. During the mountain tour, you cannot leave the group and go off on your own, as this is very risky and we do not accept responsibility for you if you do this. If you leave the Group for any reason after the tour has started, you are not entitled to a refund. Please note that if you need to descend from the mountain to the city for any reason other than health problems, a carrier horse, a guide and a vehicle will be sent to the mountain just for you, and you will have to pay extra for these.

Cancellation and Refund

Cancellations made at least 30 days before the start of the tour will grant you a 80% refund. No refund will be made for cancellations made less than 30 days before the tour starts. However, you can change the canceled Tour to another date within the climbing season.

1st Day June 29: “Welcoming Day”

On this day, we’ll greet you at the Igdir or Agri Airport and provide transportation to your hotel.

2nd Day June 30: 3.200m “Mount Ararat Base Camp”

We’ll arrive in Çevirme Village (with altitude of 2.200m) next to Mount Ararat. At this point, our carriers will handle our equipment and transfer it to the camp using mules. This is also where our hike will begin. After a comfortable hike of about 5 hours, we’ll arrive at the first camp at 3.200m.

3rd Day July 01: 3.200m Mount Ararat Base Camp, “The Acclimatization Day”

We’ll begin our hike to the second camp at 4.200m to conduct acclimatisation exercises. Even though it’s a much harder stage compared to the previous day, we’ll arrive at the second camp in about 4 hours. We’ll rest here for one hour and do little walks around the second camp. And then we’ll start our descent to the first camp at 3.200 meters. We’ll have plenty of opportunities to rest at the camp before the summit climb, which we’ll reach after a two-hour hike.

4th Day July 02: 4.200m “Mount Ararat Second Camp”

After breakfast, we’ll start our climb again to the second camp at 4.200 meters. After this climb, we’ll spend the night in the second camp at 4.200 meters. Here we’ll do our equipment check and we’ll prepare our bags for the summit climb which we’ll start at midnight.

5th Day July 03 “🌕 Full Moon, Supermoon”: Mount Ararat “Summit Day 5.137m”

After a night of rest, our summit climb will start with waking up at the time our guide has determined. We will reach the summit in about 6 hours. After resting for half an hour at the summit, we’ll head towards to the second camp at 4.200 meters. After around 3 hours, we’ll reach the second camp where we’ll rest for about an hour and start our descent to the first camp at 3.200 meters, where we’ll spend our last night on the mountain.

There is an emergency Extra day in our program. Weather conditions on the mountain sometimes make the climb impossible. With a extra day, you’ll have a chance to wait in the second camp to wait for the weather conditions to improve and then try again the next day when the weather gets better. If there are no bad weather conditions, this day will be used after the summit descent to rest at the Base Camp at 3.200 meters

6th Day July 04: “Return to Doğubeyazıt”

We’ll have breakfast. After which we’ll start our descent to the 2.200 meters where the vehicle transfer point is. We’ll arrive at this point 3 hours later and then get transferred to our hotel. Here, with our vehicles, we will go for a massage in the Turkish bath.

7th Day July 05: “Ishakpasa Palace Tour Day“

Today we’ll be visiting the Ishakpasa Palace historical Doğubeyazıt city and explore its nature then head back to our hotel.

8th Day July 06: “Farewell Day“

This adventurous, fun and historical tour program will end today with us making sure you get to the airport safely. After this program, we hope we’ll meet with you on more different routes and cities.

This tour includes Airport transfer. We provide airport transfers from Igdir (IGD) and Agri (AJI) Airport. At airports other than these airports, you must pay an additional fee for pickup.

  • Private Camp Area

Since camp will be a private area, there will be guards securing the camp. This way the equipment you leave behind will be safe and the tents will be under surveillance in case of bad weather conditions. We are staying at a special camp on the south route of Mount Ararat. In this camp, we have our camping tents and kitchen.

  • Cook preparing your hot food and drinks

During the climb, our firm will keep a cook on the mountain ready, responsible for preparing your hot food and drinks. On climbing days, our cook will provide your rations every morning and the climb nights for your consumption during hikes. We request our vegetarian and vegan visitors to inform us in advance about their choices.

  • Equipment kept

The equipment you won’t need during the climb will be kept by our hotel to be handed back to you after your return. Equipment you’ll be bringing to the mountain will be transferred between the camps by carrier mules and you won’t be charged any extra fees for all these services.

      This tour includes Airport transfer. We provide airport transfers from Igdir (IGD) and Agri (AJI) Airport. At airports other than these airports, you must pay an additional fee for pickup.

      • Private Camp Area

      Since camp will be a private area, there will be guards securing the camp. This way the equipment you leave behind will be safe and the tents will be under surveillance in case of bad weather conditions. We are staying at a special camp on the south route of Mount Ararat. In this camp, we have our camping tents and kitchen.

      • Cook preparing your hot food and drinks

      During the climb, our firm will keep a cook on the mountain ready, responsible for preparing your hot food and drinks. On climbing days, our cook will provide your rations every morning and the climb nights for your consumption during hikes. We request our vegetarian and vegan visitors to inform us in advance about their choices.

      • Equipment kept

      The equipment you won’t need during the climb will be kept by our hotel to be handed back to you after your return. Equipment you’ll be bringing to the mountain will be transferred between the camps by carrier mules and you won’t be charged any extra fees for all these services.

Our cultural program includes the most famous historical monument Ishak Pasha Palace, along with an airport transfer, a 3 night stay at a hotel and more!

Also, you will not be asked to pay more even if, on the specific date of starting the trek, you are the only person going on that trip. If our current dates don’t suit your schedule, we will create a new climb, starting on any day – our “private climb” .We have a number teams climbing Ararat throughout the year so we are very flexible and will be able to help you.         Important Warnings!

        Only the guide decides on the changes to be made on the tour and this cannot be discussed. During the mountain tour, you cannot leave the group and go off on your own, as this is very risky and we do not accept responsibility for you if you do this. If you leave the Group for any reason after the tour has started, you are not entitled to a refund. Please note that if you need to descend from the mountain to the city for any reason other than health problems, a carrier horse, a guide and a vehicle will be sent to the mountain just for you, and you will have to pay extra for these.

        Cancellation and Refund

        Cancellations made at least 30 days before the start of the tour will grant you a 80% refund. No refund will be made for cancellations made less than 30 days before the tour starts. However, you can change the canceled Tour to another date within the climbing season.

        1st Day June 05: “Welcoming Day”

        On this day, we’ll greet you at the Igdir or Agri Airport and provide transportation to your hotel.

        2nd Day June 06: 3.200m “Mount Ararat Base Camp”

        We’ll arrive in Çevirme Village (with altitude of 2.200m) next to Mount Ararat. At this point, our carriers will handle our equipment and transfer it to the camp using mules. This is also where our hike will begin. After a comfortable hike of about 5 hours, we’ll arrive at the first camp at 3.200m.

        3rd Day June 07: 3.200m Mount Ararat Base Camp, “The Acclimatization Day”

        We’ll begin our hike to the second camp at 4.200m to conduct acclimatisation exercises. Even though it’s a much harder stage compared to the previous day, we’ll arrive at the second camp in about 4 hours. We’ll rest here for one hour and do little walks around the second camp. And then we’ll start our descent to the first camp at 3.200 meters. We’ll have plenty of opportunities to rest at the camp before the summit climb, which we’ll reach after a two-hour hike.

        4th Day June 08: 4.200m “Mount Ararat Second Camp”

        After breakfast, we’ll start our climb again to the second camp at 4.200 meters. After this climb, we’ll spend the night in the second camp at 4.200 meters. Here we’ll do our equipment check and we’ll prepare our bags for the summit climb which we’ll start at midnight.

        5th Day June 09: Mount Ararat “Summit Day 5.137m”

        After a night of rest, our summit climb will start with waking up at the time our guide has determined. We will reach the summit in about 6 hours. After resting for half an hour at the summit, we’ll head towards to the second camp at 4.200 meters. After around 3 hours, we’ll reach the second camp where we’ll rest for about an hour and start our descent to the first camp at 3.200 meters, where we’ll spend our last night on the mountain.

        There is an emergency Extra day in our program. Weather conditions on the mountain sometimes make the climb impossible. With a extra day, you’ll have a chance to wait in the second camp to wait for the weather conditions to improve and then try again the next day when the weather gets better. If there are no bad weather conditions, this day will be used after the summit descent to rest at the Base Camp at 3.200 meters

        6th Day June 10: “Return to Doğubeyazıt”

        We’ll have breakfast. After which we’ll start our descent to the 2.200 meters where the vehicle transfer point is. We’ll arrive at this point 3 hours later and then get transferred to our hotel. Here, with our vehicles, we will go for a massage in the Turkish bath.

        7th Day June 11: “Ishakpasa Palace Tour Day“

        Today we’ll be visiting the Ishakpasa Palace historical Doğubeyazıt city and explore its nature then head back to our hotel.
