General Information
Mount Damavand Persian Burj Climb Program is a safe program containing an exercise day for acclimatization. This program is an extensive tour program including a climb to Mount Damavand and a trip in Tehran area. With this program; you’ll experience the culture of Iran by living as well as see its local life and have the opportunity of visiting the Iran’s many important region and see their historical and natural beauties. With the help of this program, we aim to get your body accustomed to the altitude of the mountain and to summit of Mount Damavand, and have knowledge of Iran and get to know and understand the region in generalpension.
Climb to Mount Damavand Tour Organization and 8 Days Persian Burj Program & Details:
1st Day: We’ll arrive in Tehran Airport and will be transferred to our hotel.
2nd Day: We’ll leave our hotel and will be transferred to Mount Damavand. Our hike will begin in Polour Village and end in Goosfand Sara Base Camp.
3rd Day: We’ll begin our hike to the second camp area at 4.150m to conduct acclimatization exercises. And wait in the camp area for an hour. Later, we’ll return back to Goosfand Sara Base Camp and spend the night here.
4th Day: We’ll climb back to second camp area at 4.150 meters and spend the night here.
5th Day: In the morning, we’ll reach the summit of Damavand with a 7-hour long hike and return back to Bargah-e Sevom second camp area to spend the night here.
6th Day: We’ll hike to Polour Village and return to our hotel in Tehran with vehicles.
7th Day: This is the last day of our program, and we’ll spend this day with making cultural trips in Tehran.
8th Day: We’ll be transferred to Tehran Imam Khomaini Airport with vehicles and that will conclude the 8 days TwoArarat Persian Burj program.

- Mount Damavand Climbing Organization Info:
Our firm serves at the south route of Mount Damavand. In this camp area, we have our camping tents and kitchen. During the climb, our firm will keep a cook on the mountain ready, responsible for preparing your hot food and drinks. On climb days, our cook will provide your rations every morning and the climb nights for your consumption during hikes. Since camp area will be a private area, there’ll be guards securing the camp. This way the equipment you left behind will be safe and the tents will be under surveillance in the case of bad weather conditions. The equipment you won’t need during the climb will be kept by our contracted hotel to be handed back to you after your return. Equipment you’ll be bringing to the mountain will be transferred between the camps by carrier mules and you won’t be charged any extra fee for all these services. We request our vegetarian and vegan visitors to inform us in advance about their choices.
- Attention: Please do not leave your group during the climb without informing your guide. Staying together with the group will help you to spend less of your energy and protects you from any possible accident that may happen. You should bring your trekking poles with you and use them during the hike. These poles will not only lower the possibility of an accident, but it’ll also help you lighten your weight so you’ll be less tired. Poles that are adjusted to your heart level will also help you to relax your circulation.
Climb to Mount Damavand Expedition “Persian Burj” 8 Days:
1st Day: Welcoming Day to Tehran
Our tour will begin with us landing to Tehran Imam Khomaini Airport, and we’ll be transferred to our hotel from here. We’ll spend the first day in Tehran trying to get to know the Iranian culture, so it’s possible to have a brief culture shock. Iran has a very intimate culture, and Tehran is home to a large population. After the free time you’ll spend in the city, we’ll rest in our hotel.

2nd Day: 2.900m Mount Damavand Base Camp
After breakfast, we’ll pack up our equipment for the climb. We’ll arrive at Polour Village to the east of Tehran after a 2 or 3-hour ride. We’ll reach to Goosfand Sara Damavand Base Camp at 2.900 meters with hiking from Polour. Here, we’ll settle in to our cabin owned by federation and open for use by everyone. We’ll spend the night here resting.

3rd Day: 2.900m Mount Damavand Base Camp “Acclimatization Day”
After breakfast, we’ll start our hike for acclimatization exercise. We’ll take the equipment we need to our backpacks during this process. We’ll climb to 4.150 meters with a high tempo and rest there for a while. Later, we’ll return back to our base camp at 2.900 meters and spend the night here resting.

4th Day: : 4.150m Mount Damavand Bargah-e Sevom Second Camp
Today we’ll climb back to the second camp area where we’ll start our summit climb and stay the night here in Bargah-e Sevom mountain cabin resting at 4.150 meters. Our guide will share the information needed for the summit climb and will check the required equipment during the climb. The equipment you’ll need during the summit climb should be prepared that day before the climb. We request you to check your bags and batteries since it’ll take time to prepare for a climb that’ll start at night when it’s dark. Also, it’s possible that you can forget some equipment you’ll need at the summit because of the night.

5th Day: Mount Damavand “Summit Day 5,671 metres (18,606 ft)”
We’ll wake up at the time our guide has determined for night walk. We’ll eat our high energy food before the hike and make our last preparations, set our headlights and hit the road with the lead of our guide. But our guide will check our preparations for last time before the climb. Depending on the traffic of the route, he’ll share the route information and the climbing style. After and 8-hour long hike, we’ll be reaching the summit of the Mount Damavand at 5.671 meters. Depending on the weather conditions here, we’ll start our return after spending half an hour at the summit. We’ll be arriving at federation’s mountain cabin at second camp area after 5 hours. We’ll spend our last day in Mount Damavand resting here.

6th Day: “Return to Tehran”
After breakfast, we’ll start our descent to Mount Damavand Base Camp Goosfand Sara. But first, we pack up all of our equipment. We’ll take our backpacks while carriers take the rest of the equipment. Our equipment will be loaded into the vehicles by carriers before we arrive. We’ll travel to Polour with our vehicles. And then our vehicles will get us to our hotel in Tehran.

7th Day: : Tehran Tour Day
Tehran meaning a hot place in Persian is one of the biggest metropolis cities of the Middle East. City has a grey silhouette because of the overcrowded structures. Maybe, development of a city in the middle of the steppes requires a magical hand to give political and administrative powers. Both Tehran and Ankara has been developed with these magical powers. We’ll have a chance to see many Iranian masterpieces like Golestan Palace, Bazar Bozorgh (Grand Baazar), Derbend National Carpet Museum, Shah Jewellery Museum, Glass and Ceramic Museum and Azadi Square. We’ll be transferred to our hotel after the trip. We’ll spend the last night of Two Ararat Persian Burj program by preparing for our return and resting in our hotel.

8th Day: “Farewell Day”
After breakfast, we’ll take all of our equipment and check out of our hotel to be transferred to Imam Khomaini Airport. Our Mount Damavand Climbing Program ends with us getting transferred to the airport.
