Kaçkar and Ararat “Transalpine” climbing program, starts from the East Black Sea line of Northern Anatolian Mountains. It ends on the highest point of Northern Anatolian Mountains Mount Ararat.

This climbing line is a transalpine line between the highest point of Kaçkar Mountains, 3,932 meters high Mount Kavrun and the highest mountain of Turkey, Mount Ararat with an altitude of 5,137 meters. It runs through the green forests of the Black Sea to the steppes and the roof of Anatolia. Recognized as a world heritage site, Kaçkar Mountains is home to 2,100 different plant species. With this program, you’ll be wandering from the mountains of Northern Anatolia to the roofs of Eastern Anatolia. The plateaus of Black Sea will leave itself to residential areas when we get closer to Mount Ararat. The desire to ascend, is a myth that has been passed on to human beings from Babylonians.
